This website was created in 2017, along with a Facebook Group, to rally community together to save Mudgee's iconic Art Deco Theatre.

In May 2019 we were awarded the Advocacy Award at the NSW National Trust Heritage Awards. At a Public Meeting in April 2019 it was decided to form an incorporated association.

We have been able to organise public meetings, rallies and events to discuss how to save the theatre.

Revive The Regent Theatre (RTRTM) Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation with the following objectives:

 

• To bring together people who share a vision to revive the Mudgee Regent Theatre

• To advocate for arts and cultural development in the Central West.

• To advocate for the protection of the Regent Theatre through permanent State Heritage listing.

• To hold fundraising events to promote the goals of the organisation and if possible purchase the theatre.
